XXL's 2010 Eye Candy of the Year contest is heating up with votes still coming in for the eight sexy nominees. We continue our coverage with an interview with another of the nominees, Nikki B. You may have seen Nikki in music videos for Kanye West - Power, in Drake - Best I Ever Had, Ludacris - How Low, and more. We got a chance to catch up with Nikki and have her answer some of our questions.

Thanks for taking the time to chat with us Nikki. Tell us a little bit about yourself!

For starters, this career is my full time job. I'm all about family first. I enjoy new experiences and I'm not afraid of change. As far as my free time goes, I love watching movies, going to comedy shows, hanging with my girls, traveling, bowling, going to sporting events with friends, meeting new people and so on. I can be a bit of a social butterfly at times.

You were recently nominated for XXL's 2010 Eye Candy of the Year and the votes are still pouring in to determine the winner. What would it mean to you to be named the XXL 2010 Eye Candy of the Year?

To be nominated is a nice feeling as it is,  but winning would make it another great feeling. Just another to reward from my fans as a job well done.

You wrote on your blog about your experience watching Kayne West's "Runaway" and how ground-breaking it was. What was the experience like on the set of Kanye's music video "Power"?

The "Power" shoot was another great experience as well as just another day at the "office" for me... only this time working with a more "Powerful" artist. Who wouldn't want to work in a situation like that?

I've always thought you looked a little bit la mix between the actress Nikki Cox (earlier years) and actress Eva Longoria. What other comparisons have you heard from people over the years?

Funny you should ask, being that those two ladies are who I seem to get compaired to the most lately. I dont really see it though. I think I look like Nikki B.. But I appreciate the compliment in comparison being that both are very beautiful women.

Now that 2010 is almost over, what would you say your most memorable moment has been this year?

I recently had the chance to visit the UK so that would be the highlight of 2010.

One of the more interesting features on your site is Ask Nikki where you answer questions from your fans. How important is it to you to maintain that type of close relationship with your fans?

I love hearing from my fans. I also love interacting with them.

The Ask Nikki is my Dear Abby. Some times it is easier to speak with someone outside of your circle and listen to advice given from an outsider as well.
 
What type of music do you have on your iPod?

Prince, Sade, Portishead, Mary J., Alicia Keys. Lots of love music, that's my thing.

New York City is the place to be for fashion, films, and upscale nightlife. Can you tell us about the last time you went out and had a really good time in NYC?

I dont get out like that, but when I do, I go out like it's the last night of my life!  I enjoy myself 110% always!

What is your drink of choice when you're at the club?

I'm a moody drinker, depending on my mood and who Im with is how I choose what Im drinking. Sometimes it can be tequila for a rock star night, or maybe some Remy for that smooth sexy feel, or if I'm celebrating I may indulge in some champagne.
 
Being that you're 5'10", is being tall necessary for you to be interested in a guy? What qualities do you find attractive in the opposite sex? 

Since I'm 5'10" it does make it a slight challenge at times being I love high heels, so the man Im with has to at least be 6 feet tall. I seem to attract men my exact height or shorter. It's all good as long as he's confident with himself.  Intelligence gets my attention right away, but one who has a positive outlook on life is what I look for. I love a man who knows what he wants out of this life and in a woman.
